
BIOGRAPHY
Aaron McLane

Aaron McLane graduated from Emerson College in 2006 and has built an extensive career in the film and television industry. Starting out in practical makeup effects, he transitioned to digital effects and has since worked as a VFX Supervisor on numerous hit television shows and genre projects, including Scream for MTV and the Heathers TV adaptation. Among his many credits, Aaron is most proud of his contributions to AMC’s The Walking Dead.
An award-winning writer and IATV-nominated director, Aaron received two nominations for his work on the series BLITZED. His award-winning short film, GOODBYE!, has been featured in film festivals across the country.
Aaron is also the co-host of The Launchpad Podcast, where he has interviewed notable guests such as Dolph Lundgren, Carl Gottlieb, and Sandy King Carpenter. He can be heard weekly on The Half Hour of Horror, part of The Block of Horror, where he serves as a creative partner.
A true aficionado of B-movies, Aaron has a deep love for '80s horror and Godzilla films, which continue to inspire his passion for storytelling and the genre.
